Koehler Brass Mining Flame Safety Lamp Model #289-1a Rare For Sale
This is a vintage/antique flame safety lamp made by the Koehler company of Flamesafetylamps were used in mines and other areas were explosive gases could be present. The lamp burned normally until it came into contactwitha low oxygenenvironmentand would suddenly go out with a pop or dim.
