Large Beautiful Green Glass Compote/Vase, Clear Glass Bottom, 10” Tall, Hand Blown

This lovely vintage glass compote/vase is quite large and impressive, measuring 10\" tall by 9\" in diameter across the top. The piece is fairly substantial with some heft to it; it is not light-weight. It would make a spectacular centerpiece filed with flowers or fruit or could be used for multiple other purposes. The green glass on the top portion is in a ribbed design; the bottom stem is a clear glass as you can see from the photos. The ribbing in the green glass seems to have a slight curve to it at the top which perhaps occurred in manufacture as it was twisted in the hand blowing process. I believe the piece is hand blown since the bottom of the green portion appears to have a polished pontil on the bottom of it; the clear glass base seemed to have been molded and then attached. The vintage compote/vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or mars of any kind. The only sign of use is a lot of dirt on the surface both inside the bowl and on the base in the crevice. Since I present items in their original, as-found condition, I have not attempted to clean it. My customers seem to prefer this.
