AM General M109A4 2 1/2-Ton, 6x6 Shop Van Truck.Powered by a 6-cylinder Caterpillar 3116 Diesel engine driving through an Allison automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case. Equipped with Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS).
The truck starts, runs, goes 55 MPH and stops as it should. It has a 50 gallon fuel tank. The only modification I\'ve made to the truck was to disconnect the 24 volt connection to the interior of the van body and wire the electrical outlet to accept 110v from my little honda generator and painted the entire truck flat black primer. My intention was to camo the truck, but I kinda liked the black. This is a good base coat to start a primer paint job though.
