You are offerding on a WWII M3 fighting knife andscabbard. The knife is marked US M3Utica on the hilt. The knife is 11 ½inches with the blade being about 6 ¾ inches.The edge has been sharpened. Thefinish on the blade is a dark blue. Thegrips are leather rings that are tight. There are scratches and nicks in theleather. The top has an ordinance stamp. The scabbard us marked US M8, BM Co. The fiber scabbard is not cracked. The web material is frayed on both sides aspictured. This is the first type as itdoes not have the metal belt hanger. Thesnap does work.
