This M923 was made in 1984 by AM General and was last issued to the 147th Air Traffic Services Gulf Company. It was rebuilt in 2005 by the Kansas Readiness Sustainment Maintenance Program but never put back into service. The truck was stored on base at the rebuild plant and was marked ready for issue but never left. She has 223 miles / 14 hours of operation, I put 100 miles on her myself as she\'s a pleasure to drive.This truck isnota used/abused surplus truck - it\'s near factory new!
The truck is top quality and 100% functional - ready for you. All WMOs (work modification orders) were preformed during the rebuild process including the engine being overhauled, new power steering system, transfer case replaced, fresh paint, new seats, new gauges, new fiberglass troop seats, and MUCH more. The truck was given a matching hard top and upgraded to the 14.00r20 \"Super Single\" tires while in my possession.The tires are 95%+ tread (one is 80%) and are amatchingset including the spare! (not shown).Some still have the shipping bar codes attached! This is a collector quality truck!
The truck has new fluids, the engine oil is still clear, and she runs strong. The power steering is silk smooth, I can\'t express how good it feels. Everything is functional on the truck and works.I have installed two car batteries and she had no problems starting. The door windows need fine adjusting to fit with the hard top and one tire has a minor flat spot otherwise she is a perfect truck.The paint is in excellent shape with minor storage wear on the undercarriage.Glass is excellent and clear. Hard top is solid and clean.There\'s no known leaks, ABS works, and the unit looks amazing for it\'s age! This is a show quality vehicle!******I will include a digital copy of all the TM\'s (Technical Manuals) for the operation and repair of this vehicle.**
