I have for you this evening an amazing find in a large 10.75" diameter Noritake Nippon Maple leaf mark bowl made around 1880 and in Mint condition with no wear of any type that I can find. This piece is made of high grade porcelain and has been cast into a classic scalloped rim mold design. This piece has been completely hand painted with roses and has been beaded with gold. The colors on this piece show that it was made for the domestic market and not meant for export abroad. I have handled many bowls by this maker over the years but this is certainly one of the very finest I have ever seen and I am very proud indeed to be able to offer this rare and beautiful find. This will make an amazing addition to your collection and will look grand in your favorite cabinet or at table.
Item dimensions and dating: This piece measures 10.75" in diameter and stands roughly 2.75" tall. This piece dates from the very earliest part of the Nippon era around 1880 by the marks and design elements.
Item condition report: This piece appears to be in Mint condition as I have not been able to find any chips, cracks, crazing or usage wear of any type. The colors are still fresh and vibrant as as far as I am able to tell the gold appears to be fully intact. This is in truly remarkable condition and shows beautifully.
