I BOUGHT THIS RECEIVER IN JANUARY FROM A GREAT SELLER..BELOW IS THE DESCRIPTION THAT HE USED AT THAT TIME WHICH WAS VERY ACCURATE. DURING SHIPMENT THE CORNER WAS DAMAGED ...OTHER THAN THAT IT\'S A BEAUTIFUL RECEIVER. SOUNDS INCREDIBLE.....SINCE THEN I BOUGHT ANOTHER MARANTZ 2270 AND REALLY DON\'T NEED 2.....I OFFERED IT TO MY GROWN CHILDREN..BUT THEY DON\'T APPRECIATE THIS QUALITY (OLD SCHOOL) AS I DO. I BOUGHT MY FIRST MARANTZ IN 1972 WHILE IN THE NAVY AND HAVE BEEN HOOKED EVER SINCE. I WANT IT TO GO TO A GOOD HOME AND BE APPRECIATED. PLENTY OF POWER...AND OF COURSE THAT SOUND THAT ONLY THESE VINTAGE MARANTZ RECEIVERS CAN GIVE YOU. “Marantz 4415 Quad receiver recently removed from storage. This unit is as close to mint as you will come across, the case and faceplate are both near perfect(please view the pictures for condition) New dial lamps illuminate the front dial, the tuner was aligned and controls were cleaned and lubricated. The inputs have been tested and found to be in excellent working order. The 4415 is conservatively rated at 45 watts per channel x2, and 25 watts per channel x4 with 0.15 total harmonic distortion.The unit incorporates Marantz exclusive vari-matrix circuit which simulates 4-channel sound from normal 2-channel stereo programs, and is capable of reproducing 4-channel sound from any matrix encoded source. This Marantz is super clean inside and out, has crystal clear sound, especially when in Dolby mode. I have seen quite a few Marantz 4415 receivers on , and this is up there with the best of the best.
