- 3 x 4.5 inches black paper hardcover with embossed gilt image of the Agricultural Building (front shown). Springfield, OH: Mast, 1893; cover hinge opens to 3 blackleaves on heavy stiff cards with nice red edges. A silver pencil in loop holder is provided for writing on the slate pages (shown). First leaf shows owner\'s name, Helen Andres, (shown). Next 2 facing slates show some of her doodles -birds seem to be a theme(shown). Mast had a large exhibit covering 3 spaces in the Agricultural Building Annex reserved for farm implements, Group 16, Classes 84-86 (cultivators, drills, rakes). The location is listed as E-N-7 in the \"Official Directory\" which puts it in about the middle of the Annex from the floor plan map in Directory. A fun souvenir for a WCE visitor! I wonder if dad got it during a visit or if she was along?
- Condition: Excellent. Printing excellent and not rubbed. No stains or marks. Little to no shelf wear. Hinge and pencil loop fine (shown). Hard pencil end broken in 2 places but all the parts are saved (shown). Nice, little used. Had this one protected for many years while living in Pennsylvania.
