Hello, for your consideration today is a 1971 jeep corp M816 five ton 6X6 military tow truck, wrecker, recovery crane.this truck was loaded with tools when I picked it up off of the base, and I\'m selling it that way, it has the following
chains, tow lights, equalizer bar, tow bar and attaching blocks, air hose and tire inflator, chock block, snatch blocks,pry bars, crane supports for heavy loads, pad feet, anchor spades, tire changing tools, and much more!!
the spare was new when I bought the truck and has never been installed. the tires are not weather checked and are in good condition with lots of tread.this truck has lots of lifting power and even more pulling power with the winches.
features of this truck for those not familiar with it are as followshi-low transfer casein-cab front winch controlshydraulic brake lockbottle mounts for acetylene and oxygen behind the cab, but no accs or tools included45,000 rear winch20,000 front winch20,000 crane winchrotating crane, last load tested in 09\' by the militarynow for the ugly, this truck needs the muffler replaced due to being rusted out.and one battery is bad, I replaced two of them two years age with military grade interstate batteries. the truck does jump start easily thoughand the last thing I know of is the fuel gauge doesn\'t work
