This vehicle is a 1983 M-925A-1 (non CTIS) 5 ton military troop transporttruck. This truckwent through a majoroverhaul by the military shortly before beingdecommissioned. It has less than 60 hours of run time (as can be seen in theengine run hour meter photo). This amounts to less than 1,000 miles of use since themajor overhaul. It has no fluid leaks from engine or drive train. It has beenused for commercial sight-seeing tours, has been DOT (US Department of Transportation)inspected, and meets allDOT safety and licensing requirements for highway and off-road use. The bed of the truck has been modifiedtocarry 14 passengers in 14 comfortable, safety belt and shoulder harnessequipped, racing seats. It has lights, carpeting, a 20\" fan to provideventilation for passengers, a 300 watt stereo, karaoke, PA system, with two10\" speakers, and a 14\' ramp (stored under the seats platform) for loading/ unloading passengers. It is equipped with a 2,000 watt inverter and a new, mounted4KW gas generator. Either can be used to operate the electrical equipment.Exterior paint is military, three-color camo. Hoops and military issued vinylcoated canvas canopy are installed. Also, westill have original troop seats and side boards.At the end of the seats (at rear of truck) there is a permanently mounted,metal ice chest that will hold 100 + cans of soda or beer plus ice. Althoughthere are many of this modeltruck available, there areextremely few in such excellentmechanical shape, and there are absolutelynone, that are modified and equipped like this one. Thisvehicle would be great for an outdoor adventureclub ornature group or even to usefor a business, as we have been using it. This truck was specifically modified to safely and comfortably carry a group of 14 people to see the plants and wildlife in normally inaccessible areas of the Southwestern desert,or for the less adventurous, the downtown museums and sights of the big city.It was used for both. This is a one-of-a-kind gem that anyone should be proud to own andalthough we hate to sell this magnificent old beast we are selling it because we need to focus our time onother more demandingareas of our tour business.

24 volt electrical system. All four heavy duty batteries are less than a yearold.
20,000 lb. front mounted PTO-driven hydraulic winch.Extras: Complete, 9 volume (government issued) set of maintenance, repair, andoperations, manuals for this truck are available. Also havetow bar, winch snatch block, and geared lug wrench tool available.These items will be included with the purchase of the truck but will not be sold separately outside of the purchase of the truck.

Delivery:

We are located in Buckeye, Arizona (35 miles west of downtown Phoenix). If you have the time you can come and get it and drive it homeor you canarrange to have it shipped on a low-boy to your location. We will not deliver or make shipping arrangements. Costs and arrangements to personally pick up the truck here at our Buckeye locationor to have it picked up and hauled to the buyer\'s location are the sole responsibility of the buyer.We will of course provide information (weight, dimensions, pick-up location, etc.) to make shipping arrangements and thenhelp load it once arrangements are made.

Payment:

We will accept a certified check or cash for payment. The truck has a clear title and when funds have been verified we will sign the title over to the buyer and provide a bill of sale.

Other Important Information:

Truck is presently commercially licensed and insured. When title is transferred to new owner our insurance will immediately be cancelled and we will keep license plate (per Arizona law). If new owner is going to drive the truck away after purchase he should make arrangements to obtain a temporary license permit and insurance beforehand. If having truck hauled, license and insurance arrangements are at the discretion of the buyer. In either case the buyer will not be covered by our insurance or license after transfer of the title. We canassist with information about how to obtain a temporary permit but insurancewill have to be handled by buyer.
