This is a set of original c1898 \"UNDERGROUND MINE HAULAGE T RAIL AND SPIKES\" that were used in the upper levels of the famous Yellow Aster Mine in Randsburg, California that you see in my photo. T Rail was designed to replace the old Flat Strap Rail that required a lot of wood and couldn\'t be bent. This piece of rail is 9\" long and 1 1/2\" high and is the standard size rail used in the tunnels and drifts in underground mining. It is the end cut of the rail and that is why it has the two holes used to bolt together the rail with connecting straps. It comes with two original mine spikes and will display really cool with your underground mining artifacts.
