This is an old polychrome Acoma Pottery bowl, handmade inNew Mexico several decades ago. It measures 3 inches tall and 5 inches wide. The bowl opening measures 3 ½” across. It camefrom the estate of an old friend who vacationed in the area of the Pueblos andassembled a collection of the pottery during the 1940\'s through the 1960’s.

The bowl is marked on the bottom “Alcoma N. Mex, N.Ortiz”, with a drawing of a birds foot below. Beneath the signing is $39.00written in ball point, which no one has ever removed (Probably the original sellingprice when he bought it.

Condition: The bowl is inexcellent condition, with no chips or cracks, and the colors are bright, havingbeen protected in the collection for all those years.
