A Rare National Cash Register \"Fare Collection Register\" for Streetcars, Trolleys, and Buses. Circa 1940\'s -1950\'sAll Original Condition, all the keys are there. Number 1 and 2 key is cracked/ broken. It looks like the original paint was a beautiful antique green and then painted over black
Later on. A common practice transit companies did. The stand is missing, however this can be mounted on any pole or stand. The mounting bracket and crank handle are there. Rough measurements are 22 1/2 inches tall , 13 1/2 inches wide , and 8 inches deep. These type of Registers were popular with Coordinated Public Service of New Jersey. A company that operated streetcars and buses from 1917 until 1980. However they were used throughout the world in some other transit operations.
