This is the ONE. You will never beable to find this one of a kind Naylor SD60 again. This is the one that startedit all! This is the Prototype that becamethe Super Drive 60 as we know it. Comes with the original handwritten faceplatefrom the Naylor crew!! The Super Drive 60 is the ultimate Hot Rodded Marshall type amp built on the Fender Bassman typology. Amp guru\'s Danny Russell, David Friedman, and Joe Naylor created this monster that has been used by musicians for since its introduction in the mid-90s.Description:When I acquired this amp is was in acombo cab and it needed some maintenance so I sent it directly to Naylor. Once DavidKing at Naylor received it he immediately knew it was special amp and that itneeded some love to get it back to its former glory.David was able to do some digging intothe Naylor history and found out this amp was originally built late in 1993. It wassecond prototype Danny Russell and Joe Naylor built. This build included whatthey learned in the 1st build and added the same HeyboerTransformers that are still currently used today. This prototype became what isknown as the final production Naylor Super Drive 60.Unfortunate after this amp was soldby one of the original Naylor founders, someone decided to alter the preamp. Ihave no idea what the person was thinking but both David and I thought it wasbest to completely rebuild the pre-amp and restore the amp properly. David completely rebuilt the preamp to the 1996 spec with the dual gain control which isstandard. The models from \'94-\'96 used a single gain control. Everything else about the amp checked out perfectly. David wrote the historyof the amp and what he did to it on the tube chart. David also put the standardSD60 faceplate on the front and removed the handwritten one (which is included). The handwritten control layout on the back was left as is. David retubed the amp with JJ Tubes. Currently there are 6L6 tubes in the amp. One corner of the tolex is bunched up by the faceplate (see pics)I already had a 1x12 Naylor Speakercab with the discontinued black Vox cloth. I had David make a matching headcabinet with the black Vox cloth to go with the 1x12. The 1x12 is loaded with a16ohm Celestion Vintage 30. The speaker is well broken. The Vox cloth on the speaker cab, depending on the temperature can have an ever so slight sag right in the middle of the cabinet. This is a common problem with Vox grill cloth. It is hard to photograph because the temperature has to be right. When it does sag...it is barely noticeable. The top of the cab as some marks on it from where the head sat.So to recap, you are offerding on apiece of Modern Rock n Roll history that was just serviced by Naylor and readyto rock for years and years to come. It looks awesome, sounds awesome, has thebest master volume on the planet,amazing clean to mean transition and tones. Just a killer sounding amp.The Naylor head will come in thefactory Naylor box. I will include the hand writtenfaceplate.I will also include a great Redco12/2 speaker cable for head to cab connection.Check out what this amp can sound like, WOW!

Since both items are fragile and sensitive, they will be shipped professionally with proper packing materials, and the boxes will be reinforced for maximum rigidity. It will also be shipped with insurance in the total amount of the sale. I\'ve packed and shipped numerous amps before; I always individually bubble wrap all the tubes toinsure safe transit.
