Navajo Sue George has created acollector\'s qualitynecklaceby settinga natural Fox Seafoam nuggetin a roped and stamped sterling silver pendant. It is permanently strung on what I believe is fox or tiger tail wire with addedbeads andheishis. All of the sterling silver is unpolished.

The pendant is irregularlydesigned following the natural form of the Fox Seafoam stone.The color is toward a soft green as shown in the photos. It is approximately 2\" in length and 1 1/2\" in width. I understand the Fox Mine has been unproductive for years. Finding Seafoam turquoise is a challenge. Locating Fox Seafoam even more so. This infrequently occurring phenomenon causes abubbling effect during \"birth\". The result produces a very soothing feel when stroked -giving new meaning to Pet Rock.

Two types of sterling silver beads (round and cone) are strung on the necklace. Totallength of the piece is 24inches includinga sterling hook and eye closer.

The heishis are interesting. What are they? Seasoned American Indian jewelry collectors think they may be leather that has hardened over the years. The edges appear polished but the cut sidesnot. The heishis are unusually largeand measureapproximately 1/4\" in diameter. They might even be old records.

I purchased this now vintage necklace back in the 1970\'s. If you are looking for a piece you will most likely not see on anyone else, this could be it.However, first of all, love it.This necklace deserves a good home.
