Encased 1902 Indian cent, gilt on black celluloid holder with celluloid intact over the brilliant uncirculated cent, about 1 ¾” diameter, signed Baldwin & Gleason Co., Ltd., New York, N.Y. under the curl, mirror reverse intact, dark black slanted celluloid makes an overall photo difficult, an absolutely crisp gem of an example of this early type of celluloid cent mirror issued and signed by one of the first companies that produced these numismatic treasures, this one from only the second year of encased coins in the U.S.
