I love these plates I have 3 different ones.I think they are simply beautiful. I love the use of colors.

There are hits ofyellow,blue,pink&greenin the background. I tried to show how visually appealing they are in the photos.

The plate measure approximately 7 ¾”

The plate edge is trimmed in gold.

Plate front contains a floral scene, withpink flowers and green foliage.

The back of the plate contains the backstamp –

It contains the M-in-wreath.

It says - M-in-wreath, Hand-Painted NIPPON

(\"M\" stands for importer, MorimuraBros.); found in green.

It is the # 47 mark.

I believe this mark was used between 1911 –1921.

This particular plate dates between 1911-1914.

It is invery good condition no chips, cracks or crazing.

This hasbeen in the family for at least 3 generations. We haveused it as a exquisite decoration.

It hasnever been in a plate hanger!
