Really excellent craftsmanship!!! All hand carved,beautifully painted in vibrant colors, made out of solid cedar wood. It\'sstained and polished to accentuate the natural grain of the wood.Theartist signed this piece underneath.
Measurements: 12\" long, 3.5\" wide, 1.5\" high,the bowl opening is 4.25\" x 1.5\"
Condition: It\'s an older piece but in really good condition,showing minor signs of aging, tiny restoration on upper right corner of tail,very difficult to see, have a close look please, I provided close-up pictures
Dempsey Willie is a well known Artist and carver, comingfrom a large Family of Carvers. He is a member of the Kwagiulth First Nation,originating from Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.
