this is marked ( collins logo) legitimus collins & co made in usa no 6 . i can find no info on this even in the collins collection that they have online so i am guessing it is a model that they did not put into general production. it is 27 inches overall lenght and the blade is 3 3/8 inches at the widest spot . it is a very solid machete . there is some pitting on the blade but none is deep enough to affect its use . this may be a one of a kind it came out of a 50 year collection of military knives that i bought some time ago.
