A very nice, austere woman\'s awlcase in a beaded design of white, black, greasy yellow and edge beaded in sky blue. The tube is very thick rawhide, the top, old harness leather. It once had drops, long gone from use. Some minor bead loss around the rim of the cap. Lots of awlcases out there, this is a very nice one, probably 1880s.I will be listing a bunch of miscellaneous items,ranging from folk art sculptural pieces like this, carved wooden Baule colonial figures, old crocodile prows from the Sepik River, old american indian item, alebrijes, etc. A group of interesting items.
