Old Beha cuckoo clock for repair:

For your consideration,is a very early Johann Baptist Beha cuckoo clock.I restored this cuckoo clock ,but can not seem to get the strike side in sync. . The cuckoo bird opens the door in advance of the strike run. This clock will need someone who expertise is greater than mine in clock repair. The clock has been cleaned, oiled, and runs.It has the original cuckoo pipes, and the original bellow tops have been recovered in leather. The clock is missing the bezel and has some slight case damage on the bottom. Please see photo. The 5 inch porcelain dial has a small chip, but otherwise is in great shape. The pendulum and weights are from another antique clock, but work well with this one. They are included in the sale.I have been told by an expert that the clock dates from about 1858.An original Beha label is on the backboard. It is a small Beha measuring 11 1/2 inches tall, 8 3/4 inches wide, and 4 1/2 inches deep. The old cuckoo bird sits on a wooden perch and has flapping wings and moving beak.A clock like this is seen quite seldom on or anywhere else.A photo of a similar Beha clock, one with an exposed bird, can be seen in the last photo. Please ask for a shipping cost if you are an overseas buyer. To be fair to all, there will be no by it now offers accepted.Thank you for looking at my Beha.
