Ome Grand Artist plectrum banjo made in 1993. B&D style maple rim with gold plated and engraved hardware. Ome Megatone tone ring. Curly maple resonator is carved and bound in ivoroid. Curly maple neck with carved heel and carved peghead reverse and is also bound in ivoroid. The ebony fingerboard features engraved mother-of-pearl inlays in the Ome Renaissance design. The finish and metal plating are in excellent, like new condition. Excellent playing condition with plenty of looks and power. The following information comes from Ome: Design by Chuck Ogsbury, built by Rich Sharples, inlays by Ron Chacey, metal engravings by the late Al Gabriella, wood carvings by Kent Bailey. As of May 2015, the banjo has a replacement cost at the Ome factory of $13,000. If you are a serious plectrum banjo artist, this instrument will not disappoint. Comes with newer TKL Tweed hard shell case.
