This is a gently restored original 5 cent slot machine with future pay and side vendor. Older correct restoration, careful to preserve it\'s originality. It is original, including the mechanism, reel strips, cabinet, castings, cashbox. The original cabinet has been refinished, but kept original. The mechanism is all original with correct stickers still intact! Original reel strips are in great shape. The award card and backdoor are correct replacements. This is a very ornate and coveted machine. Especially with the future pay feature, and side vendor! (side vendors alone bring an easy $500) Here is how the future pay works: You insert a nickel. If you hit a winning combination, it puts the number of nickels you have won in that little window that you see in picture that says \"no.\" The machine does not pay on that turn, just shows the number in the window of your winnings. On the next play it pays the amount shown in the window on a little dial. If you are playing and it does not hit a winning combination, the little window will say \"no\" for that turn. In 1922, this was hi tech! All of this works fine. It also gives you a roll of mints from the side vendor on each play. The purpose was to try to fool the feds into believing that it was merely a game where you only win mints, as gambling was highly illegal in 1922. Of course, history teaches us that the plan didn\'t work, and most of these were smashed by the feds. Most you see have a lot of reproduction nonsense, and are only part original. This is a real original slot machine, not a reproduction. These machines are going up in value as we speak. Check completed sales to see what one that doesn\'t even have future pay and side vendor sells for! You\'ll have a hard time even finding one like mine with these features.
