This is afun RARE find! It is an original WW2 German rabbit fur lined Eastern Front (Ostfront Mantel) leather jacket made to provide more warmth under other cold weather gear in harsh conditions. Unfortunately the jacket has been torn on the left shoulder and needs repair. There is a round black ink stamp on the back of the collar and 5 original buttons remain. There is also a name and Custers Red Raiders- 42ND \"Rainbow Division\" written in ink on the front of the jacket, probably by the soldier that captured this jacket.
