Original WWI Model 1917 Bolo and scabbard. The Bolo is marked \"PLUMB ST. LOUIS\" over a lightly stamped 1918. The1 and lower portion of the 9 in the date are not visible - stamped this way. The reverse strongly stamped \"US MOD. 1917\" in two lines. Very good - excellent overall condition with no damage or defects. Blade and guard retain most of the original finish. Grips excellent. Scabbard excellent with the leather tip marked \"BRAUER BROS 1918\". There appears to be a \"QMD\" mark on the reverse above the leather tip. First letter rather light.
