This is a pair of Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain brush pots of cylindrical form, decorated in overglaze polycrome enamels and gilding featuring Imperial figural court scenes - ladies fanning an Emperor, a court official holding a staff, two ladies holding fans, one looks down at two mating rabbits, the other with one foot on a footstool, a garden seat inbetween. A floral broder to the rim and foot.Marked to the base with an iron red square seal mark. 19th Century.Height 12 cms.Both pots have been repaired.
