For yourconsideration is this antique glass negative photo plate of a woman, possibly amother or grandmother dressed in a high neck frock; possibly from a small townin Kentucky sometime in the early 1900’s.

Size app: 5 x 4 inches

Condition: asfound in box, plate has some scratches where the image has been scraped, itcould probably use a cleaning, but looks to be in fair to good conditionconsidering its age and storage. Whenyou consider that this was a very early form of photography the glass plate is remarkablyfresh with some minor chips along the edges of the plate and somewhat dirty
