PRRM1a 4-8-2 HO scale BrassPostwar engine with step pilot, no tender Trainphone, brakeman\'s cabin and two figures of fireman and engineer in cab. Custom painted, DCC steam engine, Road # 6787,imported by Sunset Models, manufacturedby Samhongsa in Korea.

This rare and hard-to-find model is from the Bill Hughes Collection.

PRR prototype paint scheme with a correct engine number, When test run with an NCE Power Pro,it ran smoothly in forward and reverse. Headlight operates directionally. Likely Digitrax DCC decoder, model unknown, installed in boiler so no additional wires to tender. Tender equipped with water scoop, jeweled markers and the original \'narrow\' tender \"doghouse\". Tender floor factory predrilled speaker holes for sound installation, no Engine and tender are highly detailed with cut levers, piping and kadee couplers, locomotive front step pilot equipped with fixed kadee coupler with operating knuckle.

This M1a was run on Bill\'s home layoutin a dust free, smoke free and pet free Environment. Drivers show minimal wear, still shiny across the tread and flanges. Accurate custom paint in Dark Green Locomotive Enamel with Oxide Red cab roof and tender deck,graphite smokebox and firebox,blackframe,pilot,driving and trailing wheels; plated metal rods and valve gear linkage, all painted and very lightly weathered, decals accurately applied, all in excellent condition.Full engine cabdetail, including a cab apron (tender to cab hinged deck), rolled cab weather curtains, engineer and fireman figures, with a fully detailed boilerbackhead and a closed cab roof hatch.

Accurate, complete valve gear linkage; brake rigging on locomotive and on tender frame with water scoop; throttle rod and whistle cord in fine brass wire; all visible locomotive and tender details factory applied, including numbered Keystone and Builders plate readable with magnification.Scale sized PRR \"clawfoot\" marker lamps on engine pilot and tender deck. Original box as received when purchased, excellent condition for approximately 20 (?) years old. Modest shelf wear.All original internal foam inserts intact, in extremely good condition as seen in photos. No foam degradation of any kind, still firm and flexible, no crumbling nor flaking. Will be wrapped in paint preserving plastic wrap inside the box, and the exterior box will be bubble wrapped in a corrugated cardboard shipping box.
