This is a 19\" German \"Pet Name\" China doll. She is marked \"Ethel\" on the front of her blouse and \"Patent Pending\" and \"Germany\" on the back. Her body is vintage with vintage arms and legs. The limbs are all very well made with no cracking or crazing. Her muslin body is very firmly stuffed, so she displays well. Her coloring is soft, and her features are very well painted. There are no scuffs on or rubs on her face, but there are a couple of scuffs on the back of the head, which is typical for an antique china head. The dress she wears was made for her and is an ivory color with a pink rose print. She also wears a half slip and pantaloons.
