Up for sale is a blast from the past piece of televisionhistory. What we have is a PhilcoPredicta 1950s Swivel TV. The Predictatruly captures the 50s space hype with this particular design. Furthermore the base is painted in a tuxedoblack against a white television.
Overall the Television is in good condition given its age. The screen does have some scratches on thescreen (especially lower right hand corner) and there are a few cosmetic issuesconcerning the black paint. The frontdial is loose as well.
The set has been tested and the TV screen does not produce an image. There is no raster and it appears there may be an issue in the high voltage section. There is a slight buzz with the sound when turned on so it appears the amp is working. However, there is no picture or sound when attached to a VCR. We did check the seating of the tubes but did no other troubleshooting. Please offer accordingly.
