This unit plays perfectly as it should, and is ready to play all of your laserdiscs. This player I would rate as an 8-8.5 out of 10 in appearance. There are no major blemishes or cracks or dents, there are surface swirls from cleaning over the years on the unit, but I consider that a good thing, as it was well taken care of.
