Hello and welcome to my sale for this adorable “Maria” sculptby the very talented artist Linda Murray from \"The Cradle\"!This baby has been a complete and total joy to bring to life. I hope you will enjoy her as much as I have enjoyed creating her.

This baby has been washed to remove any remaining factory chemicals from the molding process and allowed to dry at least overnight, if not a couple of days.Next I began the painting process with Genesis Heat Set Paints, painting one thin layer at a time and baking each one to set the paint. This process is a long and time consuming process, but the results are a beautiful reborn baby.

This baby wears newborn and some 0-3 month sized clothing.

She has a slightly blotchy skin tone that most babies have.

This baby weighs 5 pounds 7 oz and is19 inches long.

This baby is a sleeping baby with hand rooted lashes to match her hair coloring. Her lashes have been glued on the inside to help prevent them from falling out but care should still be taken when handling them as they will come out if handled too roughly.

Her lips have been tinted and sealed to look as much like a real babies lips would look with slight moisture to them.

Her hair is a very high quality lightbaby brownmohair fromSlumberland and has been rooted just one or two hairs at a time and has been sealed on the inside with a waterproof adhesive so the hair can be gently washed, combed/brushed and styled as you may wish. As with her lashes, care should still be taken when combing and brushing baby\'s hair as it will come out if handled too roughly.

This baby has been fitted with magnets for hair bows and/or magnetic pacifiers. Please keep in mind that these magnets are extremely strong and should not be used around computers, pacemakers or any type of electronic devices or cards with magnetic strips on them.

She does have a full vinyl bodythat is anatomically correct and is all girl. This baby has a soft hand made doe suede fully jointed body underneath the vinyl bodythat has been filled with new clean poly fill and weighted with tiny glass beads. These glass beads are safe for traveling overseas. To help expedite the shipping process for International, Mexico and Canada buyers, I will attach a sample of the beads I use for weighting on top of the box for Custom\'s inspection purposes.

I never use sand when making my dolls. All limbs are weighted with tiny glass beads and the head is weighted with either glass beads or poly pellets and will need to be supported just like a real baby\'s head would.

This baby has been given a fresh manicured look and all finger and toenails have been sealed with an air dry gloss. I\'m not really happy with the coloring of the nail beds. They turned out a bit too deep pink for my taste.

This baby\'s nose has not been opened but has been shaded to give the appearance of being opened for more depth and realism.
