Offered is an old historic loving cup / shooting trophy wonby the 5th California Infantry Regiment vs. the 1st US Artillery during the Spanish American / Boxer Rebellion / Philippine Insurrection period. The 5th Infantry was basedin the San Francisco area, and competed with various units around the state and country. Very nice condition, beautiful jeweler engraved (what I believe is) silver plate, and reads:
