Interesting original 1773 receipt for fabric and lace to a Mifs Mary Fachney for Mifs Grizal Duncan from Eloz Morison June 3 1773. Payment was received June 8 1773. Grizal Duncan was the youngest daughter of Patrick Duncan (deceased) and Anna Gardiner ( Deceased) I believe Grizal\'s mother died in 1773 so this fabric might have been purchase for Grizal\'s funeral outfit or for her mourning dress.
single sheet/ two sided small handwritten document measuring apx 8 1/4 x 4 1/2 inches- items purchased 3 yards rich black Mode, 1/4 yards black parchon, 7 yards lace, 3 yards ribon, 2 yards quins garter- nice laid paper with period ink and fancy writing, easy to read- paper has fold lines, rough around edges, right hand side is creased and thinner, few tiny pinholes along right hand side might have been attached in a book, small tears along edge,creasing and finger smudges, foxing and ink smudges.- back of receipt has many numbers and writing with different dates.SELLING AS IS please look over all photos for condition I do ship worldwide if you do not see your country listed please email me for shipping costshipping from Canada can take up to 4 weeks to arrive
