A FEW OF THE AREAS COVERED IN THIS BOOK ARE, ARITHMETIC, LOGARITHMS, NAVIGATION, TERRESTRIAL, CELESTIAL NAVIGATION, ORIGANIZATION OF THE NAVY, CLASSIFICATION OF WAR SHIPS, ETIQUETTE OF A MAN OF WAR, NAVAL ORDNANCE, TORPEDOES, SHIP BUILDING, ROPES, SIGNALS, LIFE SAVING, AND A LOT MORE. The book is in great shape for being 111years old. It measures 5 1/in by 3 1/2in. There are no torn pages or dog eared pages. No loose pages. The spine of the book is nice and solid. The decorative cover pages on the inside are perfect. There are no separations between the pages. The cover shows normal wear from being used but no ignore issues. If I have missed anything please ask. This book would be a great addition to any collector.
