This is a RARE - OLD - VINTAGE 1940\'S - TOY GUN - TOY PISTOL - TOY CAP GUN - PLAY - PISTOL - REVOLVER. It is as shown and is a CAST IRON - TOY PISTOL called: AMERICAN TOY CAP PISTOL - NUMBER # 105 - made by KILGORE. It is a CAST IRON construction toy gun with PLASTIC GRIPS and measures 9 3/4\" long. It is, what I believe to be, a rare 2nd model - classic edition, with a STAMPED STEEL CYLINDER instead of the cast iron one! It is in as found condition, with one plastic grip broken as shown; the other grip is warped; there is rust and corrosion inside the cap housing as shown; the barrel assembly does not stay shut tight; the small tab that is on the rear barrel hinge (the tab that holds the trigger guard in place when closed) is broken - the trigger guard does not stay closed; and there is some light surface rust. It comes with a mismatched LEATHER HOLSTER - possibly a KEYSTONE LEATHER HOLSTER!? It is in good original condition with wear and scuffing, and the red metal disc has paint loss and surface rust! You buy it for a very low opening offer AS-IS as described for PARTS or to RESTORE!PLEASE VIEW ALL OF THE PICTURES TO DETERMINE CONDITION OF THE GUN!
