Ben Seibel (1918-1985) studied architecture at Columbia University until his studies were interrupted by military service. Upon his discharge, Seibel resumed his education at the Pratt Institute, shifting his concentration to industrial design. He had a varied and prolific career, producing dinnerware, flatware, lamps, furniture, and wood and metal tabletop accessories. His bookends are highly collectible today.


This vintage pair of MidCentury Ben Seibel leather-wrapped brass bookends is quite rare, especially in such fine condition. Each bookend measures 6\" x 4 1/2\" x 4\", embossed Jenfredware with original felt bases and paper labels intact.
