Here is a fabulous gently loved 1960’s Original Enid Collins of Texas bucket bag. The front of the bag is has large butterfly with lots of jewels, faux pearls and sequins. The fabric on the purse looks to be like a large tweed weave. The trim at the top, bottom and carrying strap are leather. As you can see in one of the photos there is a built in leather zippered change purse that is perfect for so many things including money, lipstick or cell phone. The inside is stamped copyright 1963 Enid Collins and on the change purse is a stamped horse that says Collins of Texas. The very bottom of the bag is wood. The back of the purse is finished off nicely with leather trim and brass grommets. The height of the purse measures 10 ¼ inches tall not including the handle and about 8 ½ inches across. The overall condition of the purse is good with no stains and a few sequins in front are missing. The leather has some signs of aging but nothing major.
