I was told this may be pre-1900 from the Minnesota Militia
This is an original from the depth it was found in the groundIt measures 1-3/4 inch wide by 2-3/4 inches tall
The screw back still works and one prong is still on the back to prevent rotating
It has a very dark patina from being in the groundThere are no markings as to the maker of this badge
