Rare Shreve Co. 14k Yellowgold Sewing Kit Original Box 31.5 Grams. This rare set includes a solid 14K yellowgold box made by Shreve Co. that was used for holding needles. In the fitted box is also a 14k gold thimble with cherubs and flowers. The thimble is monogramed MBF. The box also contains 2 German made scissors that have solid gold 14k handles. The entire set is in excellent condition. The box and the thimble have a weight of 31.5 grams. There are antique vintage needles in the top of the box some look like they have gold heads. The gold box measures 1 7/8 inches high by 1 1/4 inches wide. The thimble measures 7/8 inch high. The scissors measure 2 1/2 inches high by 1 1/2 inches wide. The fitted box measures 4 1/8 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide. (Item #44202)
