Atthe beginning the manufacture concerned only
theSaxophones, the Flutes and the Oboes.
Thisfirm was the direct competitor to SELMER
andwas considered as the top quality of all the French manufacturers.
Duringthe 30\'s, Madame F.BESSON was looking for a manufacturer
forproducing the French F.BESSON trumpets
andthen selected the best of them,
theSTRASSER MARIGAUX LEMAIRE COMPANY.
Then, they selected afterwards the famous brass Manufacturer, AlfredAUBERTIN
-who was manufacturing the MEHA BESSON Trumpets under license-.

Later,in front of the success they met,
AlfredAubertin and his son started their own company

AlfredAubertin was born in 1874 in France.
Heworked at Antoine Courtois\'s Workshops before starting up his ownCompany.
Hisson Louis will work with his father to 1957 till Alfred died.
Itis important to know that most of the trumpet players like MauriceAndré
orRoger Delmotte in this period, were playing the Aubertin trumpets.
*
In1970, Maurice André has contact with Louis Aubertin - retired at themoment,
butstill owner of his Workshop and offered to him to take over his firm;
butwith the condition he accepts to continue to run it for him.
Thisproject was nearly ready to start up but unfortunately at the sametime,
Louishad to go to hospital. He died some years later.
