Here onoffer is a rare vintage Snow White & Seven Dwarfs hand painted child’sdress, dating to the late 1930s.

Thischarming dress has been made for a young girl using a cream jacquard weave check.It has hand painted figures of the Seven Dwarfs from Disney’s film of SnowWhite and the Seven Dwarfs released in 1937. The dress has very simple sleevelessA-line shape with frilled edges to the neck and arms and an added border at thehem. The dress is for the most part machine stitched with some hand stitching. Thedress is a little grubby and is being sold as found, I have made no attempt toclean the dress. There is no damage to the fabric, the characters have someminor loss of colour. I am afraid that as the dress has been homemade, there isno size guide, the styling would allow a range of ages to wear it.

The dressis being offered in good vintage condition, it measures about 64cm in length by38cm across the chest.

A wonderful charming and rare collectable.
