Rare ZUNI PUEBLO SMALL KNOBBED POTTERY JAR, c. 1890-1900 This is a rare small knobbed decorated pottery jar from the Zuni Pueblo, circa 1890 to 1900s or so. Pot is 2 3/4\" high and 3\" in diameter, and it features a heavily knobbed bottom with a top area decorated with typical Zuni designs in red and black paint on a whte slip ground. Condition is untouched with a great old patina from age and use. There is one rim chip along with damage to about 5 of the knobs near the bottom, as pictured. This is a rare and interesting little jar, and it is fresh from an old New England collection.
