We have a German Military stein that was made about 70 years ago for a soldier in the war in Germany. The stein is a 1/2L that is 5 7/8” tall. The stein has relief scenes of planes flying over Germany, Tanken Fueling and Leichte Flak. The lid is made from pewter. There are no chips or cracks. I think that this is a very unusual stein.
