We have a German Military stein that was made about 70 years ago for a soldier in the war in Germany. The stein is a 1/2L that is 9 1/8” tall. The stein has a hand painted scene with M.W.K. Infantry Rgt. 13. The owner was Obergefreiter Ayahs who was in the 13 Infantry. The lid is made from pewter that has a three dimensional helmet that is dented on the top and has a tear. There are no chips or cracks. I think that this is a very unusual stein.
