This is a beautiful vintage piece, a R.S. GermanyReinhold Schlegelmilch, Tillowitz, porcelain gilded cake plate with roses in a lovely peach and ivory color on a tan and light green background. The plate features cutout handles and beautiful lustrous gilding accenting the floral design. The plate measures 9-3/4\" handle to handle. This plate was most likely made in the early 1900\'s. From a family estate. Back of plate is glazed and is stamped with the green RS Germany Wreath mark. Condition is good for its age, no cracks, crazing, or chips. However, the gilding is worn off in some areas along the rim and inside edges. A few tiny surface scratches from use.
