I have for your consideration a beautiful Reynolds Medalist cornet. My research shows it was made in 1971 and it has a 468 bore. It is in excellent condition. The valves are fast and smooth with no wear showing. All the slides move freely and the bracing is solid with no evidence of repair. I would put the lacquer at 97%. There is a minor ding at the valve block that you have to look for to find it. It is in great condition considering its age. Please note the slide stop at the third slide. It is things like this that make American made horns stand out. This is the rare short 15 inch model.
Included with it is a Bengi 5b mouthpiece. It has a good \"bite\" and a medium deep cup that gives this horn a dark, almost flugel sound. Also included is a brand new Protec gig bag with a shoulder strap and elevator handle.
This horn will come to you clean and ready to play out of the box with no issues. It comes from a smoke and pet free home. Please note, the instrument stand is not for sale. I just came across an Olds 3 cornet mouthpiece that I will include in the deal. It is not in the photos.
