- DESIGN: An extremely early, rare and unique vintage Ritter Intra-Oral \"Stereoscope\" X-ray slide viewer circa 1930\'s designed for institutional and medical Environments. Built heavy duty and comprised of Bakelite plastic, Nickel plated Brass, steel and iron all very well engineered and manufactured. Adjusting binocular lens\' front a hinged window lid which opens for access to the slide viewing plates and screen as shown. The entire viewing unit can be adjust fore and aft via a tension joint on the main support post.
- CONDITION: This rare illuminating Ritter Stereoscope is in excellent original condition, completely intact andfully functional. Just light signs of wear with no abuse or repair, only normal surface wear to the case from use and age. The original internal lighting assembly has been inspected and appears safe and functional, the internal light is controlled by a sliding/dimmer switch integrated into the base and the power cord has been replaced with braided cotton wrapped insulated wire to be completely safe & functional. The two hinged slide/xray holders function smoothly and bear random tarnish marks. The inner illumination screen is composed of 2 plates of glass, one light blue and one translucent white which bears a hairline crack along the lower area that does not have any real adverse viewing The assembly overall measures 14\" tall with an overall depth of 10\" and 8\" wide...internal illuminating bulb IS included.
