This mandolin is very high quality made by Robert Lawrence himself from his lutherie shop located here in the great USA. Bob Lawrence instruments are respected by a number of well known bluegrass pickers. They are preferred recording instruments with some musicians who own many Martins and other brands. His instruments have been sent all over the country to owners who write back again and again how much they absolutely love their instrument, playing them on some of America\'s finest stages and homes.This mandolin is brand new, has never had a previous owner. Each instrument is hand crafted and set up to be the best sounding and playing instrument possible. Not only in the intonation extremely well set, but the materials, wood and technique makes his guitars have a playability and sound preferred by many. Lawrence mandolins are based to similar styles and construction as early Martin and Gibson instruments. Bob has studied their construction for many years and added a couple of his own improvements. Like Gibson, Bob started out making \"F\" style mandolins and moved on to acoustic guitars and dobros.
