FOR SALE: ( RESERVE HAS BEEN REDUCED ) Russian (Soviet) GAZ 69MA Command Car thought to have been manufactured in 1957. These jeeps were manufactured from 1953 to 1972 and utilized throughout the Soviet Union and all of their Eastern Block Nations. This particular vehicle was based in East Germany and utilized by their Military Police. It is equipped with a 3 speed, 4 wheel drive transmission. The front hubs must be manually engaged. It has a few small dents but no rust through spots. Like most Soviet military vehicles, they were repainted with a brush with little preparation resulting in peeling paint. See a close up of the pictures. The top is a new original and it is equipped with the side windows. It was converted to an electronic ignition and runs well. This vehicle was pictured in the Military Vehicles Magazine 2010 Collector\'s Edition Calendar for November and was also displayed at the War and Peace Show in Britain for several years. .
